Yelena Pasman, EMB (ACE), CG (ASCP) – Senior Lab Manager & Embryologist
Yelena Pasman is Chicago IVF’s Senior Embryologist and Lab Manager. She has over two decades of experience in genetics and assisted reproductive technology (ART), and is a certified Clinical Laboratory Specialist in Cytogenetics (CLS (CG), (NCA)) and CG (ASCP). To date, Yelena has participated in over 1,000 IVF embryology treatments and more than 300 preimplantation genetic screening (PGS) laboratory cases.
Yelena received her doctoral degree in Europe before starting her clinical laboratory career in 1988 at the Reproductive Genetics Institute (RGI) and Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine, where she was trained by the world's leading scientists.

Based on her extensive education and experience, Yelena received a Certificate of Embryologist (EMB/Level IV) from the American College of Embryology (ACE), of which she is still an active member. Yelena is also a member of the American Association of Bioanalysts (AAB).
Yelena ensures the highest standards at Chicago IVF. She assists Dr. Brasch, Medical Director, in overseeing the Clinical Laboratory Regulatory Compliance Operation, as governed by the Illinois and Indiana Departments of Health and Regulation, College of American Pathologists (CAP), Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and the Society of Assisted Reproductive Technology (SART).
